This event was planned to celebrate the contributions of Gunn's Hill Limited Partnership, the neighbouring green energy project, part of the Oxford Community Energy Cooperative. Ongoing funding from GHLP has been instrumental in the transformation of the Hodge's Property...trails and natural heritage. Contributions from GHLP have not only funded projects directly, but have provided some of the matching dollars required for some of our largest grants...from Environment Canada and Health Futures.

For the Hodge's Event we partnered with County of Oxford, Woodstock Field Naturalists, Tourism Oxford, Stewardship Oxford, Woodstock Environmental Advisory Committee, Oxford EarlyON, and others to help host the event and run activities and guided hikes

Thanks to Brad and his team as well as all the volunteers who made it such a huge success.

Nov 6 2019

On Wednesday, November 6, Oxford County will be hosting a public meeting regarding the development of a recreational trail along the former railway corridor extending from Norwich to Tillsonburg.

The meeting which will be from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Norwich Community Centre will outline the proposed plans to establish a trail partnership with the Oxford County Trails Council, the Township of Norwich, and a local community group for the development of approximately 15 kilometres of off-road trail, helping to provide further connectivity to the Trans Canada Trail, the local trail network within Tillsonburg, and on-road cycling routes.
